This wastegate is for VAG group vehicles equipped with the 1.4, 1.8 and 2.0 liter TFSI/TSI engines that have an electronic controller for the same wastegate, including the latest IHI turbo engines. Recommended for any vehicle that has had its turbo boost pressure increased through reprogramming or for models that still have the first generation of the original recirculation valve, as they tend to fail due to the weak membrane they include.
