* Some features depend on the model The BR-Series model uses a 46mm diameter piston in a 53mm shock to maximize oil capacity. While the shock absorber is working, the oil it contains heats up due to its use. Oil viscosity changes as temperature increases, which affects shock performance. BC Racing exclusively uses a high performance oil, but goes a step further and builds its range of shocks with a large 53mm diameter shock. This significantly increases the shock's ability to store oil, which reduces the ease of reaching that performance-reducing temperature.
